Video of the Week: Brian Eno “Music For Airports”

15 Jun

Brian Eno is another legend at M8M Studios.  I listen to his albums “Apollo Atmospheres and Soundtracks” & “Ambient 1 Music for Airports” every day while I work.  Literally everyday, for the past 5 years!!!  They are that good!!  These albums contain amazingly creative music that disappears in the background when you need it to.  Unobtrusive and inspiring.  I stumbled upon this video a few days ago.  I love Eno’s music philosophy…imagine custom music everywhere you went, designed for that particular experience, instead of hearing the same songs over and over again, or someone’s personal music collection, that 9 times out of 10, is not to your liking or taste.  That would be cool.  Eno is a true innovator worthy of an audience.  (FYI Brian Eno composed the Window start up sound, 3.8 seconds representing a whole operating system)
